After the sport of polo entered the Engadin at the end of the 19th century, it has become an important economic factor thanks to the “Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz”, which has been taking place annually since 1985. With the “Summer Polo Cup”, the two local initiators Daniela Märky ​​and Gian Andrea Conrad from the St. Moritz Polo Club, together with the new OK member Reto Gaudenzi, founder & CEO of the Snow Polo World Cup St. Moritz, are starting this year too reviving the tradition of summer polo. The event will take place from July 24th to 26th, 2020 on the San Gian horse sport meadow next to the Hotel Kempinski in St. Moritz Bad.
