The British Ladies Open Championship at Cowdray Park attracted 8 teams into the competition with Monterosso Vikings and Park Place making it through to the Final on Sunday afternoon on a rather overcast Ambersham 1 ground.

A fabulous well-balanced game with both teams working well with strategic play. Lia Salvo kicked off the goal scoring putting Park Place in the lead scoring the only goal of the 1^st chukka. Monterosso Vikings found their stride and came back in the 2^nd securing 2 goals, Lia Salvo again popped 1 through for Park Place ending with 2 apiece.
During the 3^rd Hazel Jackson for Monterroso Vikings stamped her authority on the game increasing their score to 5 to 2 by the bell. A final winning goal in the 4^th by Emma Boars secured the trophy for Monterosso Vikings, ending the match with a 6/3 win.

Best Playing Pony was awarded to Mosqueta owned and ridden by Milly Hine in the 1^st and 4^th chukkas.
